This is the bottom boarding platform of the Katoomba Scenic Railway. There were 15 to 20 or more tour coaches parked in the car park when we arrived so many people use these facilities.
The overhead walkway leads to a short scenic track through some Australian native bush. At the
other end of the track is the Sceniscender Cablecar. We went down the Katoomba Scenic Railway, along the short bush walk and then up the Sceniscender Cablecar to return to the car park and our tour bus.
There were also other tracks that lead off into the bush.
