This is a photograph of my father (in the black tee-shirt). The photo was taken at the echo point observation platform in the Blue Mountains of Australia. His name is Reginald Summersby. It was taken in October 2004 while we were on an FJ Tours tour of the Blue Mountains. We were on holiday from New Zealand for three weeks and we were staying in Sydney's Potts Point.

You can drive to the blue mountains and return in one day quite easily. You can also use Sydney public transport as there is a train that goes to the Blue Mountains.

The second photo shows my father outside the FJ tour bus that we were travelling on. We had stopped for lunch which was included in the price of the tour. It really was an excellent lunch too. It included watermelon and rockmelon, salads and cooked meats and pasta, etc. The total cost of the tour was somewhere around $80 AU per person including lunch.
